After the hustle and bustle – and, let's be honest: sheer exhaustion – of the holiday season, you have earned a break. And we have the perfect idea for you: come relax with us in the heart of Memphis and let us pamper you back to health.
Sure, we're conveniently located just a stone's throw from all of the time-honored local institutions: Graceland and Beale Street, just to name a few. But we're here to give you the inside scoop on a few fun January events you might otherwise miss – and will give you an insider's view on how we really live here in the Home of the Blues.
- Head to High Cotton Brewing every Thursday from 6 – 8pm for Bendy Brewski Yoga. First practice beginner-friendly yoga, and follow it up with a pint.
- Silky O'Sullivans on Beale Street is the place to be on Thursday nights: from 9pm to closing you'll be treated to their famous Dueling Pianos, along with food, drink and… goats that live on site? Only in Memphis, folks.
- Put on your dancing shoes and sexiest outfit for Salsa Saturdays at Club Rumba. Free lessons are given at 9:30pm, and the party heats up from there. Offering Latin food, tropical mixed drinks and live entertainment, this is the place to be seen.
- Honoring the legacy and contributions of pioneering dancers, the Collage Dance Collective proudly presents their newest performance: Rise 2017. On Sunday, January 22, you'll experience the athletic grace of this professional troupe, plus their up and coming stars of tomorrow.
