Memphis is quickly becoming a very bike-friendly city. There is a network of well-marked bike paths throughout the city, and there are several parks that offer peaceful rides in the countryside. The Shelby Farms Greenline is a shaded path and popular route that connects the city to a 4,500-acre park.
 

Running

Don't forget your jogging shoes when you stay at our Memphis hotel. Nearby Mud River Island Park and the Mississippi Greenbelt Park offer miles of riverside paths for quick or long runs. You can also hit the city streets for a run through Beale Street, Downtown and the Riverwalk. 
 

Cycling

For the more serious biker, there are several great rides that take you across the city through beautiful neighborhoods and scenic parks. A highlight is the 7-mile Shelby Park Greenline trail that follows a former railroad track or the Mississippi Greenbelt that runs right along the iconic waterway.
